Happy Halloween!!! I’ve been MIA for a while, but am back! Sorry this is a little late, seeing as today is Halloween, but better late than never 🙂 These are 2 plain orange, canvas type bags I bought at Michael’s back in 2009 when I was still pregnant with my 2nd little guy. I did my older son’s with some iron on letters and added candy corn. This year, I got the chance to finish my little guy’s bag up. I used the same black iron-on letters and painted ghosts on his. I just free handed the candy corn and ghosts with some fabric paint. Very easy and pretty quick little project to do. If you have older children, let them join in on the fun! Below is our (well their) Trick or Treat bags
My pinterest addiction is a little crazy.. OK OK.. I’m obsessed! I admit it. After pinning numerous Christmas card holders, I remembered, ” Hey, I have some supplies I could use here at home, without having to buy a thing!” So I grabbed this unpainted circle ( I believe it’s an 8″ one, but any size, any shape, even canvas will do!) paint, ribbon, and brushes. This is the end result..
I know Christmas is still a ways away, but seeing all the cute projects and ideas on Pinterest, I just had to get a jump start on making stuff. The first cute thing I decided to make was this ADORABLE little tree made from pots.
I’ve recently discovered the awesomeness of Pinterest and I am addicted. Browsing through foods on there, I came across a photo of this and it looked yummy, so I got the recipe. However, I did make some changes to it. Below is my version of the recipe 🙂
Finally back after a trip to see family in Alabama. Great thing about coming back is it feels like Fall finally here in NC and puts me in a baking mood. So with this beautiful weather we’re having and baking season, I started with Pumpkin Bread. I must say, I was terrified of how it would turn out. I’ve never made it before or any other kind of bread. This turned out amazing!! It tasted great and was melt in your mouth moist!
The picture below is from google images, I’m bad and didn’t take a picture and now ours is almost gone.
