Happy Halloween!! DIY Trick or Treat bags!

Happy Halloween!!! I’ve been MIA for a while, but am back! Sorry this is a little late, seeing as today is Halloween, but better late than never 🙂 These are 2 plain orange, canvas type bags I bought at Michael’s back in 2009 when I was still pregnant with my 2nd little guy. I did my older son’s with some iron on letters and added candy corn. This year, I got the chance to finish my little guy’s bag up. I used the same black iron-on letters and painted ghosts on his. I just free handed the candy corn and ghosts with some fabric paint. Very easy and pretty quick little project to do. If you have older children, let them join in on the fun! Below is our (well their) Trick or Treat bags

So from us to you, Happy Halloween! Enjoy all the candy, most of ours will be sent overseas to sweeten up and add a smile to the faces of the guys who protect us 🙂

This is the end result..

Pumpkin Bread

So with this beautiful weather we’re having and baking season, I started with Pumpkin Bread.  I must say, I was terrified of how it would turn out. I’ve never made it before or any other kind of bread. This turned out amazing!! It tasted great and was melt in your mouth moist!

The picture below is from google images, I’m bad and didn’t take a picture and now ours is almost gone.
